Using Affirmations and the Law of Attraction

The law of attraction is the universal law that relates thought power, action and results all in one continuous cause-and-effect pattern. When positive thoughts are kept in mind, especially when this happens long term, the result is positive actions and eventually the achievement of goals.
To begin using the law of attraction in your life, starting with affirmations is an easy way to start changing your mindset to one that will attract success.
Writing Positive Affirmations
You may have a favorite saying that is empowering to you. If so, this is a perfect affirmation for you. To create more positive affirmations, consider exactly what you want to work on and recreate this on paper. One affirmation may be to feel more confident when working in your small business. Another may be to reach a specific financial goal that you have in mind.
Create several of these affirmations to boost your self confidence and to create a tangible goal that you can reach. These affirmations will be repeated often, so keep them relatively short and positive.
Creating Time for Affirmations
Recite your affirmations out loud each and every day. To make sure that you don’t avoid this because of a busy schedule, think of one or more specific times during the day that you can recite them without being interrupted. If you don’t want to recite them in front of anyone else, schedule it for times when you will be alone.
Your affirmations can be recited during your shower, during a commute or any time that you feel nervous or less than confident. Always find the time to do it, even if you are ill, busy or out of town. The regular recitation of your personal affirmations is what will make them impress upon you what success is possible in your own life.
Believing in Success
In order to succeed, you must believe in success completely. You must believe that you will succeed and that it is just a matter of time until that success is your reality. The affirmations are what teach you to believe that this success really can be yours.
The law of attraction needs your complete belief in order to attract that success. With the regular reading of your personal affirmations, they will eventually become positive thoughts that are in your head rather than simply words on paper. These positive thoughts then create more positive thoughts and a positive attitude toward the future develops.
To attract success, keep nurturing that positive attitude. If you have a bad day and slide into negative thoughts, simply pull out those affirmations and begin again. With enough practice, you will be able to put yourself in a positive frame of mind whenever you choose.
