Britney Spears may have rubbished the pregnancy rumours surrounding her, but editors of American magazine Us are offering ‘proof’ that the news was confirmed by none other than the man reported to be the father.

Editors of the magazine are offering photos of the BlackBerry exchange they had with music producer J.R. Rotem, who ‘confirmed’ the news of Britney’s pregnancy to In Touch Weekly.

In the photos J.R. appears to have written, “It’s true,” when asked if the singer was pregnant, reports The Sun.

The photos also show that when asked whether Britney will keep the baby, he replied he had no idea.

“No clue on what she will do. She is unpredictable,” he wrote.

However, he then denied sending the texts.

Britney, for her part, denied the story by sending a text message to Los Angeles radio presenter Ryan Seacrest, after broke recently.

In it she wrote: “It’s B.S, I don’t know who made it up. J.R. doesn’t even know what’s up. It’s fake, completely fake.”
