With all the talk the last few years about law of attraction being a secret you’d think it was a new teaching discovered by those who spent years in meditation asking GOD to reveal HIS Wisdom. In reality the law of attraction is as old as life itself, actually it is LIFE ITSELF. What makes it seem new is that we haven’t heard the term very often until a few years ago when it was made popular by The Secret.

Law of attraction gurus have jumped on the bandwagon teaching it as though it were something newly discovered when in fact you can pick up your Bible and discover this idea spoken of by Jesus himself. That’s why Christians can embrace these concepts, they are not new, they are a part of scripture.

You reap what you sow has been told to American children for ages reminding them to pay attention to their words and actions as they were sure to come back in force. Perhaps your own mother reminded you of this concept while wagging her finger at you in response to an unkind word or act towards a sibling.

As a man thinketh in his heart so is he reminds us that it’s all about the beliefs we hold inside our selves which attract like to us. This truth is one of the main reasons people give up on the law of attraction and go back to old habits. Habits practiced over years become beliefs that are embedded in the subconscious. These don’t change just because you use an affirmation now and again. What you think, believe, feel in your heart.. that deep subconscious part of you that runs automatic all the time is what shows up in your life. Your life experiences are your true reflection of what you really believe.

A fountain can not put forth both bitter and sweet water reminds us that our attitudes are either one way or another, we can not be loving and hateful at the same time. There is a wonderful story about this that goes; there was a wise man and his student walking and sharing wisdom. They talked about the nature of man as they walked down the trail. The wise man was explaining to his student that within him there were too wolves, one wild and savage, the other tame and kind who battled all the time. The student asked, “Teacher which won will win”? The wise man answered with a smile, “the one that I feed the most often”.

There is within each of us the ability to be kind, to live aware of what we are creating or to create based on fear and doubt. The way to determine which of the wolves within you wins is to stop battling and make a choice to feed only the wolf that leads to the life you were created for.

The law of attraction always works to bring about more of what you give your attention and strong feeling to. You get to decide what that is, in other words… which wolf to feed. The law of attraction creation principles are the governing laws of this world. Whether we accept them or not, they, like gravity, are always at work here. You were created to think, feel and draw into your life from Source Energy those things that helped you to experience more of Who You Really Are. It’s only when you entangle yourself in your own illusions of lack, fear, hatred and doubt that you are not experiencing what is pleasing to you.

Even those things which show up that you are not enjoying serve you though as they point you to what it is that you really do want to interact with. Use them as a jumping off point to begin again by going into the silence and creating your life from the inside out by using your imagination. This is where the law of attraction serves you the quickest. Think it, feel it, believe it and follow inspired thought to action. The law of attraction is not a secret, it is a natural process that is always at work bringing about what you call forth from Source Energy.
