Judge tells Spears no kids in car while driving

BEIJING, Nov. 19 (Xinhuanet) — A Los Angeles Court Commissioner said Britney Spears driving a car with her kids inside is a no-no. Scott Gordon handed down the ruling following a 90-minute closed-door hearing on Friday morning. The closed-door hearing was reportedly requested by Federline’s camp to discuss a variety of issues before the judge, including Spears’alleged failed drug test and her reportedly running a red light with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James in the backseat of her car.
One of the figures scheduled to testify at Friday’s hearing was an X-17 photographer who filmed Britney’s alleged red light running incident, however it was unclear if the photographer participated in the hearing.
In a quick interview prior to the hearing, Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told Access Hollywood the red light incident was a “dangerous situation” and would be addressed in court Friday.
Kaplan told Access the top priority for being in court was Federline’s fear for the children’s safety when they’re with their mother.
The last time Kaplan and Federline tried to request an emergency hearing to revoke Spears’driving privilege with the kids, the judge didn’t see any reason for an emergency. Eight hours later, a video of her running the red light with the kids in the car was posted online, Kaplan added.
The next hearing is set for Nov. 26, with a follow-up scheduled for Jan. 23.
