If You Fail to Control Your Mind
February 11, 2009 | 4 Comments
“If you fail to control your mind, you may be sure you will control nothing else. If you must be careless with your possessions, let it be in connection with material things. Your mind is your spiritual estate! Protect and use it with the care to which divine royalty is entitled. You were given a will power for this purpose.” Napoleon Hill
This statement from Napoleon Hill has a wealth of wisdom in it. What are you most careful with in your life? Is it a material possession that you value, protect, and watch over? How many of us consider our mind the most valuable asset that we have? Or perhaps the better question is, how many of us really know and consider their mind to be there most valuable asset?
It is with the mind that we can accomplish anything. It is with the mind that we can acquire those material possessions that we value so highly. It is with the mind that we can create all that is in our lives.
Do you treat your mind with the respect and care that a highly valued possession deserves? Do you keep it clean and in prime working condition or do you make it sluggish through exposing it to toxic substances? Do you give it the best material to create and manifest from or do you mindlessly without discretion allow and let any image or thought enter your mind?
You are not powerless in how you use your mind or what you allow it to be exposed to. Far from it. You are the sole person responsible for the care and use of your own mind. No one else. It is up to you to give it the best material input and the cleanest environment to operate in.
If your mind in operating in a haze, look to your self as the reason for it. If your mind is not creating the life experience you desire to have, look to yourself what thoughts and images you have given it to create with. No one else is responsible except for you. You were given the ability to choose and the will power to follow through on your decision.
Your mind is your finest prized possession. Treat it as such and it will bring to you the many valued material possessions and life experiences you desire to have.
