Understanding Your Beliefs and Attraction

Did you realize that your beliefs in your life have a direct affect on what you attract? I have heard people wonder how in the world certain things happened to them but when you look into their beliefs it’s very obvious. Are your beliefs in life stopping you from attracting the things you want?
Let me explain this a little more. Your beliefs drive your behaviour. Your behaviour creates actions that lead to an outcome. Therefore the outcome is directly linked to the beliefs that you have. Here is an example:
Suppose you went to some kind of party and when you got there you found out that half of the people there humans and the other half were Martians. Now, you have always believed that all Martians are thieves, stealers, and can’t be trusted. After about thirty minutes into the party you look down at your wrist and discover that your watch isn’t there. What’s the first thing that goes through your mind?
Most likely you are thinking, ‘Which one of these rotten Martians stole my watch?’ Because of this you start looking around for the Martian that stole your watch. You go up to one of them and ask them about it and before you know it your in a huge fight. Then one of your friend’s walks up to you, hands you your watch, and tells you that you dropped your watch in the kitchen and they haven’t been able to find you.
Because of your beliefs you attracted a huge fight to yourself. Your beliefs made you behave a certain way which caused a certain outcome. What beliefs do you have in your life that is causing things to be attracted to you that you don’t want?

The ‘Tricks’ of the Law of Attraction

The law of attraction can change your life if you know how it works and then work it to your benefit. You may know people that seem to always attract great things in their life. Have you ever wanted to know how they do that? Here are three ‘tricks’ to the law of attraction.
1. Have a positive attitude.
A positive attitude will help you in more ways then you can imagine. By having a positive attitude you keep yourself aware of the possibilities that are around you. The more aware you are of the possibilities the more options you will have to choose from to succeed. Your attitude makes a huge difference in what you attract.
2. Be willing to take risks.
If you want to attract something different into your life you will have to be willing to take some risks. I’m not saying to risks that are crazy. However, if you want something different you have to do something different. This may mean that you have to take a risk and do something that your not 100% sure of the outcome.
3. Learn from others.
Many of the people that attract great things into their life have learned or been mentored by someone else. You can know everything about attracting what you want. It’s very important to learn from someone that can help shoe you the way. It’s like trying to drive somewhere you have ever been before without having the directions. It’s always good to get directions from someone that has been there themselves.

Attraction and the Power of Change

Have you ever wondered which one of these comes first? Do you attract what you want and then change happens or do you have to change so you can attract what you want? If you don’t know which one comes first you may be holding yourself back from attracting the things that you want.
Let me explain how this works. The things that you have and are currently attracting in your life are a result of who you are at the present. There is no way that you can attract anything different in your life if you stay exactly the same. The only way for you to attract what you want is to first change. Change things in your life and you will attract different things.
So the question now is what do you need to change? As an example let’s assume that you have wanted to get a promotion on your job for the last couple of years but have never got one. The first thing you need to answer honestly to yourself is if there is anything that you need to do to become more qualified for the promotion. Let’s face it, if you aren’t qualified for the promotion you won’t get it. Change your qualifications to attract what you want.
Now, if you are qualified to get the promotion and haven’t then there is one more change that you probably need to make. That would be to go to another company. How long are you going to wait around until you make the changes necessary to attract what you want? If you are qualified I’m sure there is another company that would be happy to have you.

3 Rules of the Law of Attraction

With all the stuff going around about the law of attraction it can get a little confusing as to how the law of attraction works. Just like any law there are rules that govern that law. For instance, the rules of lift and drag govern the law of aerodynamics. The more rules you know about a law the better you understand how to make the law work for you. Here are 3 rules that govern the law of attraction.
1. You attract what you are.
If you are an unhealthy person then you will attract an unhealthy lifestyle. You may end up with a whole bunch of health problems because of who you are. If you want to attract health into your life you need to become a healthy person. If you don’t like what you are attracting into your life then you need to look at who you are and who you need to become to attract what you want.
2. Your beliefs are the root to what you attract.
Your beliefs drive your behaviour. The results you have in your life are a direct result to what you do, or in others words the behaviour that you have. You can’t attract success if you don’t believe that you can have success. Your beliefs will make you behave in a way that will produce the results of a non-successful life.
3. Change is required to attract what you want.
If change weren’t necessary then you would already have everything that you want. To have a different result in your life you have to change. The degree of what you attract is directly related to how much you change. If you barely change you will have very little, if any change. If you change a lot you will have a large change in what you attract.

3 Reasons Why You Attract What You Don’t Want

Are you sick and tired of having things happen in your life that you don’t want to happen? I know I was at the point several years ago in my own life. There are reasons why those things keep happening. Have you ever asked yourself why? Here are 3 reasons why you may be attracting what you don’t want.
1. Wrong Beliefs.
Your beliefs have everything to do with what you attract. Your beliefs are much different then your wants. You may want something really bad but way down on the inside you don’t really believe that you can have it. Your beliefs drive your behaviour.
2. Wrong Behaviours.
Because you believe certain things you will behave in a certain way. All of your actions in life have a result attached to them. Even if you do nothing there will be some result to that. If your behaviours and actions aren’t those that support the actions necessary to attract what you want then you won’t get it.
3. Giving up.
How can you attract what you want if you give up before you have it? I know it’s not always easy to get what you want but giving up isn’t the answer. You have to keep pressing on until you have what you want. If you have been struggling to get what you want I encourage you to find ways to help you through. Some of these things could be a coach or a mentor, an accountability partner, or even setting up certain things that will motivate you to continue.

Spirituality Information: Focus On Peace

Spirituality information is peace oriented, both inner peace and world peace.
There has been a lot of attention recently about the phenomenal movie, “The Secret” and the recently released book of the same name. The main theme is the metaphysical law called “The Law of Attraction”.
The Law of Attraction
The law states that “like attracts like.” We are magnetic and we attract to us those people, events and experiences that are in alignment with the preponderance of our thoughts. What you put your attention on and think about is what shows up in your life experience.
I personally believe in this law because I have documented it so irrefutably in my own life just through the mere observation of what I consciously think about and then noting what shows up in my experience. Anybody can do this but it takes a commitment to the process and a true desire to understand this law with a level of clarity that goes beyond normal everyday living.
Once you become aware of the power of this law you cannot help but strive to use it to your benefit as much as possible because you begin to understand how important it is to continually think about those things you want in your life and to stop thinking about those things you don’t want in your life.
That sounds pretty simple on the face of it. Continually think about the things you do want in your life and stop thinking about the things you don’t want in your life. Well, duh?! But the implementation of this simple procedure becomes more daunting when you realize the subtleties involved in this process. There is more to this equation than meets the eye. Let’s take a look at one aspect of how this works to get a clearer perspective of the overall application of this law and how you can use it to benefit your life experience.
We all want Peace
One of the concepts that most people on this planet want to experience is peace. Whether you are a pacifist and are against the war or you are a hawk and are for the war what both of these perspectives are looking for in the final analysis is this thing called “Peace”.
The hawk believes you can achieve peace by influencing others through the persuasion of military might in order to change behavior and the pacifist does not believe in the idea of war to achieve peace. So the hawk is pro-war and the pacifist is anti-war. What is the common theme that both groups are putting their attention on? WAR!
The Law of Attraction says that “like attracts like”. It doesn’t matter what side of the coin you are on, if you are putting your attention on ‘war’ to achieve ‘peace’, you are going to continue to experience “war”. You bring into your life that which you put your attention on. Whether you are pro-war or anti-war you are creating more ‘war’.
The only way you can use “The Law of Attraction” to stop war and experience peace is by not putting any attention on war and only putting your attention on peace. You see, the more you put your attention on war, even if the attention you are putting there is to ‘stop war’ you are still attracting the very thing you say you don’t want. How is that? Because you are putting your attention on it. You are not putting your attention on ‘peace’. You are putting your attention on ‘stopping the war’. Big difference. You are continuing to perpetuate war under the belief that you are ‘against the war’.
Being Peaceful
The only way to create peace in your life is to “Be Peaceful”, and never give a moment’s attention to war. If you are ‘being peaceful’ and never entertaining thoughts of war then you will ‘be peaceful’ even when all around you may be at war.
Obviously this will be impossible to do if you continue to watch the nightly news on TV, listen to the news on the radio or read your daily newspaper.
It all comes down to whether or not you want to make an experiment out of your life and see if this is true for you. Is it worth a year of your life to give up TV, news- talk radio and reading the newspaper for a year to see if this is true? Wouldn’t that be a fun experiment with your life? Think thoughts of peace, speak only words of peace and do only peaceful things for one year. Do you think your life would be more peaceful?

Attraction and the law of attraction is becoming a much more popular subject. You probably have heard a lot about the topic and you may have even learned a lot about the law of attraction. To help you along your journey I want to give you three questions that you must know the answer to before you can truly attract what you want.
1. What is currently stopping me from attracting what I want?
This is a question that you may not have even thought about before but is one that will help you in your process of change. It’s great to be doing things that will help you attract what you want but sometimes the reason why you aren’t attracting what you want isn’t because you need to do something but rather stop doing something.
2. Who do I have to become to attract what I want?
Imagine yourself one year from now having the things that you currently want to attract. Take a closer look at who you are. Who did you have to become to attract what you wanted? What habits, characteristics, and lifestyle did you have to develop? Once you know what these are you need to start working to develop them now.
3. What am I willing to give up to attract what I want?
You will have to give up certain things so that you can attract what you want. Some of the things that you may have to give up will be harder then others. It’s always good to know ahead of time what you will have to give up. You may realize that there are some things that you aren’t willing to give up. In that case you will have to change what you want.
